Merrimack, NH gauge at 60 cfs. Milford, NH gauge at 16 cfs. This was a nice level for poling this quickwater section.

We put in at Boston Post Rd.

The sand bars were full of deer tracks.

This section of river is right next to a golfcourse. One golfball made it onto the sandbar, and another one went plunk in the river.

We stopped here at the rte 101 bridge and poled up the tiny rapids.

After a bit, the others started to arrive.

Then we headed back down.

It took a little more effort getting the canoes up the ramp.
